This is the year to pull it all together!

Combining the diversity of participants' individual stories, focused exercises to elicit deep and inner knowing, and guidance on themes specific to women's journeys, this unique series will blend and enhance participants' personal and professional development.

When: Saturday, April 12 - 9am-4pm • Thursdays, April 17, 24, May 1 - 1-4pm

Dynamic program facilitated by Barbara Babkirk of Heart at Work and Susanna Liller, of Liller Consulting, a journal and series materials, refreshments at breaks, gourmet lunch on Saturday, plus an individual one-hour follow-up session with Barbara or Susanna 6-8 weeks after the program. Limited to 12 women.

A non-refundable deposit of $600 to secure your place is due by April 1, 2008. The balance of $600 is due on or before April 12, 2008.

Personal & Professional Development Series:

Session 1: Saturday, April 12, 9am-4pm
Knowing Yourself: Connecting the Threads of Your Life
A daylong retreat where you will link who you are and where you've been with a greater consciousness of universal themes in women's journeys.

Session 2: Thursday, April 17, 1-4pm
Supporting Yourself: Confronting Your Fears

With an emphasis on shifting a negative mindset, this session will educate you in ways to manage limiting beliefs and move ahead when you feel stuck, confused or indecisive.

Session 3: Thursday, April 24, 1-4pm
Honoring Yourself: Understanding and Appreciating Your Gifts, Talents and Skills
Believing in yourself is essential to success in life and work. This session will acknowledge your contributions to date and invite you to discover the possibilities for excellence within yourself that have not yet emerged.

Session 4: Thursday, May 1, 1-4pm
Imagining Yourself: Embracing the Woman You Are Becoming
In this session, you will consider what is calling your heart and soul. With a focus on body, mind and spirit, you will set intentions for your life and work and identify ways to manifest your desires.

Follow up: Individual one-hour session with Barbara or Susanna 6-8 weeks following the series.

 

About the Facilitators:

Barbara and Susanna have many years experience designing and leading retreats as well as working individually with women as they explore their life paths.

Barbara Babkirk is founder and owner of Heart At Work, a career counseling business in Yarmouth, Maine. A licensed clinical counselor, and certified Focusing trainer, Barbara's clients represent a broad spectrum of the marketplace to help them find and sustain work that aligns with their personality and values. In addition, she leads an annual Women's Retreat in Provence and writes a bi-weekly blog on the business page of MaineToday.com

Susanna Liller is founder and president of two businesses based in Portland, Maine – Ruby Slippers, LLC and Liller Consulting,LLC. Susanna is a Certified Hudson Institute Coach (CHIC) and professional facilitator and mediator. She has extensive experience as an educator, corporate manager and management consultant.
